Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese system of healthcare. It aims to prevent and cure specific diseases and conditions by sticking very fine, solid needles into points of the body.
Reiki
Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing
About Me
I started Kintsugi Acupuncture in order to offer different modalities of care to address a variety of physical and mental conditions. I have been a professional nurse for over 25 years and have always been interested in Eastern Medicine. My broad based experience in medicine, psychiatry, and end of life care allows me to offers my services to a diverse group of individuals.
When a bowl, teapot or precious vase falls and breaks into a thousand pieces, we throw them away angrily and regretfully. Yet there is an alternative, a Japanese practice that highlights and enhances the breaks thus adding value to the broken object. It’s called kintsugi (金継ぎ), or kintsukuroi (金繕い), literally golden (“kin”) and repair (“tsugi”).
